Rescued kittens/cats from the streets often come to us heavily infested with worms & fleas, which if left untreated can result in illness or be life threatening particularly for kittens. Worms can cause loss of appetite, vomiting and diarrhoea. Fleas can cause skin diseases, itchiness, weeping open sores and anaemia.

Kittens require worming every two weeks until twelve weeks of age, then once a month until six months of age. After six months all cats need to be wormed every three months. Flea treatment is recommended monthly.
